You’ll learn how to provide great customer service, pour drinks like a pro, gain your RSA and help with basic food preparation. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to handle the fast-paced festival environment with confidence.

Our two-day course will teach you how to warmly welcome visitors to Hobart and Tasmania offering them a friendly and smooth start to their visit. You’ll enhance your customer service skills to be the perfect ambassador for Tasmania, while learning about Hobart’s rich history, culture, and attractions. Learn how to keep guests engaged and comfortable as you build essential communication and time management skills and earn basic first aid certification and Tassie Tourism Ambassador recognition to ensure a safe and memorable experience for everyone. The course covers topics such as the appropriate use of cleaning agents and equipment, preparing rooms for guests, personal presentation, and providing a memorable guest experience.

This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to cook in a commercial kitchen of pubs, small restaurants, festivals and function caterers.
