An important skill set to equip staff with is the ability to proficiently handle and resolve customer complaints and conflicts. This training course focuses on developing knowledge and skills for effective conflict resolution with customers or staff. During the course, participants will learn effective communication techniques and practice using conflict resolution models.

TASSIE AMBASSADOR PROGRAM
This program will enable tourism operators and staff to learn the basics of the tourism industry and how to offer a great Tassie experience. The course can be used as an induction or to complement an existing staff training program. The more people that complete the course and wear the badge, the more it will become a talking point and encourage visitors to gravitate towards those that wear the badge, knowing they’ll have an amazing experience. We hope you’ll get on board with your staff when your destination comes online.
Facilitated by Tourism Industry Council Tasmania this program is delivered in partnership with an authority in each town, be it the local Council, Local Tourism Association, Chamber of Commerce, or Regional Tourism Organisation to have a bespoke program delivered in their town/city. The course is FREE and will take around 2-3 hours to complete online.
