Course Content
- Workplace Coaching: Understand the essence of workplace coaching and its importance in employee development and explore the roles and responsibilities of a workplace coach in nurturing talent.
- Questioning Skills: Grasp the importance of effective questioning in coaching interactions and explore diverse questioning techniques: open-ended, probing, and reflective.
- Learning Styles: Uncover the concept of learning styles (visual, auditory, kinaesthetic) and explore how understanding learning styles enriches coaching effectiveness.
- The Performance Cycle: Understand the performance cycle, comprehend the four stages: clarifying expectations, observing, gap analysis, and feedback and recognise the role of coaching in each stage of the performance cycle.

*This course fee is subsidised by grant funding from the Tasmanian Government. As part of the funding, the Tasmanian Government require VXT to report on employment outcomes. VXT will reach out to you after the course to gather data on your employment status when you completed the course, and if you were unemployed, did the course help you gain employment.

Enrolment Terms
- Payment of course fees (or deposit) is required to confirm enrolment and to hold a position.
- Cancellations up to 10 working days before the scheduled date will be accepted without penalty. Cancellations less than 10 working days may be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
- VXT reserves the right to cancel the course 10 working days before the scheduled date if insufficient registrations are received. Any fees paid for cancelled courses will be refunded in full.

- Adequate classroom space furnished with tables and chairs.
- Provision of a TV or projector and screen for trainer presentations.
- Whiteboard for trainer use
- Catering suggested: tea/coffee, water, snacks
- Onsite induction for the VXT trainer
